The TRiO Student Support Services (SSS) program at Bay College provides opportunities for academic and career development for college students who are either first-generation, low income, or disabled.

  • Assistance in applying for admission to 4-year institutions

  • Academic advising (assistance with course and major selection)
  • Career planning
  • Field trips (cultural, educational, social)
  • Grant aid

TRiO Student Support Services is funded through a five-year grant authorized by the U.S. Department of Education.  In 2013-14 the federal amount of $277,077 was received or 82% of the budget and  $50,317 or 18%  was funded by Bay College.
