The Bay College Model United Nations Club provides special opportunities for Political Science/Pre-Law majors and other interested students to participate in the study of the United Nations (UN). Students travel to an inter-collegiate conference annually where they represent the diplomatic delegation of an assigned country.
Students may also inquire about potentially receiving academic credit for participation in the Model UN Club. POLI 299: Independent Study in Political Science-Model United Nations is a course designed as a general elective and is open to all Bay College students upon instructor's approval for registration. Students may choose to earn 1, 2, 3 or 4 credits for the course.
The Model UN Club has its own fundraising website. Anyone can support the participating students with their conference registration and travel costs by making a donation or ordering magazine subscriptions, cookie dough, gift cards and other items at http://www.magfundraising.com/BayMUN
