American Heart Association logoBay College’s Training and Development Division is pleased to be your community American Heart Association (AHA) training resource center. All courses are taught utilizing AHA standards and experienced instructors.


Heartsaver First Aid, CPR/AED Training

Our Heartsaver Courses are for anyone with limited or no medical training who needs a course completion card for job, regulatory, or other requirements. While these courses are designed to meet OSHA requirements, OSHA does not review or approve any course for compliance. These courses are also designed to meet regulatory requirements for child care workers.
 
Wednesday, December 20 2 pm - 9 pm $85, includes required manual
Wednesday, April 18 2 pm - 9 pm $85, includes required manual
 


Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers

This course is designed to provide a wide variety of healthcare professionals the ability to recognize several life-threatening emergencies, provide CPR, use an AED, and relieve choking in a safe, timely and effective manner. This course meets the requirements of clinical facilities utilized by Bay College.

The AHA no longer offers "recertification" for BLS:HCP. All card holders must now take the full BLS class. If your card is set to expire, please register for a full Basic Life Support Class.
