Starting this fall semester, Bay College West will be able to offer its students the opportunity to complete a welding certificate, entirely in Dickinson County.

Citizens of Delta County will vote for three positions to the Bay de Noc Community College Board of Trustees in the November 8, 2016 election.  Two positions are regular six-year terms and will run through December 31, 2022.  One position is an unexpired term and will run through December 31, 2020.

This summer, area students will have an opportunity to learn techniques in drawing covering concepts of Perspective, shading, composition, and properly translating size and shape. Students will cover the use of a grid and also practice drawing from still life compositions at Bay College West.

Escanaba, MI – 6/15/2016 – Bay College has signed an agreement with Pearson VUE, the computer-based testing (CBT) business of Pearson, to test candidates pursuing key industry certifications from leading IT programs, such as Cisco, CompTIA, EMC, HP, LPI, Oracle and VMware.

Bay College has received a grant to create new degree programs using high-quality open educational resources (OER) in new degree programs. Bay College will use open educational resources in degree programs to reduce costs, reinvigorate teaching, and raise college completion rates.

Bay College Training and Development (M-TEC) and Michigan Works! will be teaming up to offer Lego robotics camp during eight sessions that will take place at M-TEC June 20 – July 21. The camp will teach youth valuable problem solving methods, engineering concepts, and programming skills in a fun and engaging way.
