Bay College is excited to announce Tour de Bay, a Community Open House that will take place on Friday, November 6, 2015, from 3:00 pm to 7:00 pm. The event will be a self-guided tour encouraging guests to explore exciting locations across campus and engage in educational, family-friendly fun at every stop. Highlights include ribbon-cutting ceremonies for the new Technology and EMT/Paramedic programs, ambulance tours, and a medical helicopter landing. Guests can learn how apple cider is pressed, view the Nursing simulation lab, see mechatronics equipment in action, learn the latest useful business and technology tools, hear a live garage band, “10 Cent Cans,” take art gallery tours and get a tour of the theater’s backstage, witness a drone in flight across the UP, visit a business showcase called Career Quest, and more. Those who complete a tour card can win prizes and even be entered for a free tuition drawing. There will be food and hydration stations along the tour route for guests to enjoy.
“Tour de Bay is built upon the success and popularity of the Birthday Bash Open House held a few years ago,” said Dr. Laura Coleman, President, Bay College. “We wanted to create another opportunity to bring people together and share our ongoing growth and evolution with the community in a fun and festive atmosphere.”
All are welcome to attend the event. The college hopes to attract a wide array of guests, including alumni, families, students, employees, and area business leaders. To find out more about the event, please visit www.baycollege.edu/openhouse.
