The Bay Film Series continues its ongoing commitment to highlighting local films and filmmakers, showing MUTT – a movie filmed in the Upper Peninsula on Thursday, April 30th
at 7 p.m. Based upon Erica Lord’s true story, the movie shows the “cultural limbo” that mixed-race children often face, as the main character, half Native-American and half white tries to navigate both worlds. Screenwriter, director, and producer Rick Allan, as well as some of the cast, will be at Bay to talk about the film after the screening.
All Film Series movies are shown in Bay College’s Besse Center Theater at 7 p.m. Tickets are $5 and are available at the box office or can be purchased online. For more information, go to the Bay College website (www.baycollege.edu
