Bay College West Campus is set to host their first Leadership Conference on Thursday, May 17th
. The conference will benefit individuals interested in learning about effective methods for managing and promoting productivity within their organization. Anyone looking to develop their leadership skills will benefit from attending this event.
Top experts in a variety of fields will provide advice from their own experience, allowing attendees to better understand what it means to be a leader. The keynote speaker, Dr. Sherene McHenry, is a relational leadership and success expert. She is a past president of the Michigan National Speakers Association and the author of Pick: Choose to Create a Life You Love
and Navigate: Understanding the Five Types of People.
She has also been cited in numerous publications, including Speaker Magazine and the Wall Street Journal.
Other speakers include John Jamar, President and CEO of CCI Systems, Chad Bianchi, Assistant Vice President at Associated Bank, Pete Bilski, Former VP-HR Consultant and Current HR Lead at Systems Control, and Brent Madalinski, Business Instructor at Bay College. In addition, Lois Ellis, Director the Alliance, will moderate a panel of community leaders including: Russ Kassin, Senior Vice President of Business Banking at First National Bank and Trust, Mark Klossner, Marketing Manager at Boss Snowplow and Margaret Minerick, President of Sagola Hardwoods.
“After meeting with industry partners we’ve identified the need for leadership development as a commonality between businesses in our area. Bay West is looking to provide ongoing solutions to offer top-notch training opportunities locally,” said conference organizer Gina Wollner, Manager of Business Development and Community Engagement at Bay West.
