Bay College West announces, Diversity, an exhibition of artworks featuring the work of various student artists. The public is invited to the Opening Reception to meet the artists on Tuesday, April 18, 2017 in the Lower Commons of Bay College West from 6 PM to 8 PM CST. Refreshments will be served and Valari Swanson, pianist, will perform.

The Exhibit can be viewed from April 11th to May 5th at Bay College West. Diversity represents a culmination of a semester of work for these students. The exhibit will include drawings, paintings, 3-D sculptural design and photography using a variety of media including graphite, charcoal, watercolor, pastels, oils, acrylics, ink, multi-media and photographic images to produce their unique images.  Students are learning to create unified compositions that effectively communicate their ideas and values. The exhibited works originated from four art classes – 3-D Design, Drawing 1 & 2, Painting 1 & 2, and Digital Photography 1 & 2. This is a juried art show in which one piece of artwork will be selected to be part of Bay’s Permanent Art Collection. Everyone is invited to view the exhibit and to attend the Artists’ Reception on Tuesday, April 18th from 6-8 PM CST at Bay West.
