Bay College West announces, From Different Perspectives, an exhibit of artworks featuring the work of many student artists. The public is invited to the Opening Reception to meet the artists on Tuesday, December 1st  in the Lower Commons of Bay College West from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM. Refreshments will be served and Catherine Vivio, pianist, will perform music.

The Exhibit can be viewed from November 30th to January 14th, 2016 at Bay College West. From Different Perspectives represents a culmination of a semester’s work for these students. The exhibit will include drawings and photography. They use a variety of media including graphite, charcoal, watercolor, ink, collage, pastel, photographic images and other materials to produce their compelling images.  They are learning to create unified compositions that effectively communicate their ideas and values. The exhibited works originated from two art classes – Drawing 1 & 2, Digital and Photography 1 & 2 taught by Shelly Danielson. This is a juried art show in which one artwork will be selected to be part of Bay West’s Permanent Art Collection.
