The Bay College Foundation hosted its 26th Swing for Scholarships!
Golf Outing on Thursday, July 21 at the Escanaba Country Club. The outing was filled to capacity as golfers enjoyed 18 holes of golf, course contests and hospitality, live and silent auctions, and a steak and shrimp dinner – all for a great cause. 100% of event proceeds go towards student scholarships. Since the event began in 1991, the Golf Outing has helped provide scholarships to over 251 students.
“Each year, our community continues to step forward to contribute to education,” says Kim Carne, Vice President of Advancement and the Foundation. “With the help of scholarships, students can complete their education so they can enrich their lives and enhance our community.”
Numerous donors, sponsors, golfers, volunteers, and staff came together to make this worthy event possible. A number of generous businesses even sponsored at the highest Master level, including: CMDA – Attorneys at Law, Crawford Funeral Homes, EMP, ESG Experience, First Bank, Niagara Logistics, Premier Real Estate, Schneider, Larche & Haapala CPAs, Stewart Manufacturing, and Upper Peninsula State Bank.
