ISO 9001:2015 Internal Auditor Training

ISO 9001 is a standard that sets out the requirements for a quality management system. It helps businesses and organizations to be more efficient and improve customer satisfaction. A new version of the standard, ISO 9001:2015, has just been launched, replacing the previous version (ISO 9001:2008). If companies wish to maintain their certification to ISO 9001, they will need to upgrade their quality management system to the new edition of the standard and seek certification to do it. Certificate holders have a three-year transition period to move to the new version. This means that, after the end of September 2018, a certificate to ISO 9001:2008 will no longer be valid.

To assist companies with the standard transition, Bay College has partnered with VanAire, Inc. of Gladstone to bring Jeff Heinzen and his ISO Internal Auditor training to the college. Jeff has conducted Internal Auditor training for over 7,000 participants and has a perfect record of ISO 9001Registration success.

The 2-day Internal Auditor training will provide an overview of the new 2015 requirements, the internal audit process, the roles and responsibilities of the auditor, audit preparation and audit, along with result reporting and follow-up audits. Whether you are new to auditing or an experienced auditor, this training will give you the skills and knowledge necessary to perform effective quality management system audits, as required by ISO 9001.
Internal Auditor ISO 9001:2015 training will be held on Tuesday, February 28 and Wednesday, March 1, 2017. Class will be held from 8:00 am – 5:00 pm, at the M-TEC located at 2000 North 30th Street, Escanaba. The fee for this training is $400 per person and includes continental breakfast, lunch, and all materials.
