Bay College’s Training and Development (M-TEC) division is offering their 16-hour Basic Digital Photography workshop starting October 11, 2016. This workshop is designed for owners of a DSLR camera or a camera that has the capability of manual, aperture and/or shutter modes.
Instructor Scott Peterson will cover camera menu options and features, camera composition, exposure (aperture, ISO, and shutter speed), white balance, resolution, and compensation. This 16-hour workshop will give the amateur photographer a better understanding of the processes that will add enhancement to quality photography. In addition to classroom work, an outdoor photo shoot is scheduled. Plus, this Basic Digital Photography workshop will introduce the user to basic imaging software.
Workshop participants will meet every Tuesday and Thursday from 6 pm – 8 pm (October 11- October 27) at the M-TEC and on Saturday, October 22nd for the outdoor shoot. Cost of this 16-hour workshop is $170 per person. Please bring your camera and camera manual to class. Registration deadline is October 7th and class size is limited to 12 students.
