The new logo symbolizes new energy, opportunities and better represents the area in which our campuses are located in Upper Peninsula of Michigan according to VP of Advancement Kim Carne.

Last year, Bay College celebrated 50 years, concluding in grand style with a Golden Gala event on the Escanaba Campus. This year, the event will be held in the lower commons of Bay College’s West Campus in Iron Mountain.

The first Bay College Golf Outing took place 24 years ago and was the first charity golf outing in Delta County. It was all started because many students cannot afford a college education. In fact, with 72% of Bay students qualifying for financial assistance, the need for help through scholarships is great.

GIS is a comprehensive database tied to features on the earth’s surface, with an integrated set of tools for querying, analyzing, and displaying geographic information.

Plans are underway for Bay College’s 24th annual Swing for Scholarships Golf Outing that will be held on July 17 at the Escanaba Country Club. The event begins with registration at 11 a.m. EST, a golf shotgun start at noon with lunch, live and silent auctions, awards, and an exceptional steak and shrimp dinner to follow.

The TRiO Program at Bay College is offering a free summer program for students who will be attending college for the first time or would like to learn new college strategies this fall. College Skills Week is designed so students can explore, practice, and learn some new strategies to get their college careers off to a great start. The program is offered on the Escanaba campus down the hall from the library.
