Bay Middle College

Bay Middle College is a high school program of the Delta-Schoolcraft Intermediate School District operating on the campus of Bay de Noc Community College.  The program offers a Michigan Middle & Early College Association (MEMCA) approved curriculum that includes core content classes and a variety of college readiness skill development.  Students who qualify have the opportunity to enroll in college courses free of charge while completing their high school requirements.  All students must complete the Michigan Merit Curriculum in order to graduate.

Students eligible for application include those living within the districts of the Delta-Schoolcraft ISD, including:
Bark River-Harris Schools
Big Bay de Noc Schools
Escanaba Area Public Schools
Gladstone Area Public Schools
Manistique Area Public Schools
Mid Peninsula School District 
Nah Tah Wahsh Public School Academy
Rapid River Public Schools

Total enrollment in the program averages between 65-70 students per year.  Students attend all classes, including high school courses, on the campus of Bay College.  Some of the benefits of enrolling with Bay Middle College include:

Before enrolling, interested students must first have the approval of their district of residence.  Students should speak with their guidance counselor or principal regarding their options with Bay Middle College.  Homeschooled students are also eligible and should contact Bay Middle College directly for more information.
