BAY de NOC COMMUNITY COLLEGE PERSONNEL POLICIES AND PROCEDURES Originator: Board of Trustees Revision Date: Subject: Benefits 513 JURY DUTY POLICY It shall be the policy of the Bay de Noc Community College Board of Trustees to grant an employee limited leave from work for jury duty.PROCEDURE: 513.1 is endorsed to the college. The employee may choose to take annual leave if he/she desires, and retain all of the jury duty pay. 513.2 Seasonal employees will only be eligible for substituting their college wages for their jury duty check if their time spent on jury duty was during their normally scheduled work hours. 513.3 Part-time employees will only be able to substitute their college wages for their jury duty check if their supervisor determines that they are unable to make up the time spent on jury duty during that week or the following week in which they would have worked. Part-time employees who work less than 19 hours per week will not be eligible for this option. |
