It shall be the policy of the Bay de Noc Community College Board of Trustees to offer, occupationally exposed employees who are likely to have contact with bodily fluids in the course of their assignments, the series of vaccinations against Hepatitis B free of charge.  Booster vaccinations will be provided as medically indicated.

606.1 Hepatitis vaccination will be made available to all occupationally exposed employees i.e., those likely to have contact with bodily fluids in the course of their assignments.

606.2  Any person electing not to be vaccinated must sign that they have been offered an opportunity to receive the vaccination and have refused.  Responsibility for obtaining this signature rests with the appropriate supervisor.  The original copy of refusal is kept in the personnel file and a copy should be sent to the Human Resources.
