Why Bay College?

The Agricultural Operations program at Bay College develops knowledge through intensive, practical learning, becoming prepared for today's high technology agricultural operations. Bay College has partnered with Michigan State University to offer regionally relevant training programs for careers in some of Michigan's highest demand industries.  Students will benefit from dual enrollment at both institutions with all courses delivered at the Escanaba campus. This partnership allows students to earn an associate degree from Bay College and a certificate from the Michigan State University Institute of Agricultural Technology (IAT). Full-time students will be able to complete the associate degree and certificate in just two years.

By working together, Bay College and Michigan State University are able to offer this program close to home and at a lower overall cost. Interested students need to apply for admission to the MSU Institute of Agricultural Technology and for admission to Bay College.
