The Agricultural program at Bay College is an innovative program that develops career ready graduates with a solid background in plant and soil science, precision agriculture, water management, plant pathology and business management. Students will develop knowledge through intensive, practical learning, becoming prepared for today's high technology agricultural operations.

Why Bay College?

Bay College has partnered with Michigan State University to offer regionally relevant training programs for careers in some of Michigan's highest demand industries.  Students will benefit from dual enrollment at both institutions with all courses delivered at the Escanaba campus. This partnership allows students to earn an associate degree from Bay College and a certificate from the Michigan State University Institute of Agricultural Technology (IAT). Full-time students will be able to complete the associate degree and certificate in just two years and financial aid is available through Michigan State University to help with the tuition expenses at both schools.

By working together, Bay College and Michigan State University are able to offer this program close to home and at a lower overall cost. Because of the partnership, students will need to apply to Bay College as well as the Michigan State University Institute of Agricultural Technology.
