Degree program at Bay College
Why Mathematics?
There is so much more to Mathematics than the four basic operations of addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division! It helps shape the world around us. Mathematics is a broad field that can lead to many different career paths, including education, business, actuarial science, statistics, cryptography, quality control, financial/data analysis, market research, urban planning, and computer programming. A degree in Mathematics not only opens the door to a variety of careers but can also be used as a stepping stone to advanced degrees in related fields. Some math majors even move on to law school.
