Bay College West Campus Welcomes Two New Work Study Students

Camie Clark and Tracy Garrett are two of the newest members at the Bay College West Campus (Bay West) in Iron Mountain, MI as work study students.  Visitors will find them at the front desk of the main office each working ten hours a week.  Garrett and Clark are serving as the initial customer service contact for student services. In addition to being a resource for directions and inquiries, Garett and Clark will be supporting the campus through content development, social media management and other support services.

As a twenty-eighteen graduate from Norway High School this is Clark’s first semester of college.  She is undecided about her field of study and finds Bay College to be the perfect place to explore her options and take a full course load of general studies, including a Career Exploration class.  Clark loves swimming in Lake Superior, figure skating, and spending time with friends and family. She also holds down two other part time jobs as a waitress at Storhiems and as a skating coach.

Garrett is returning to Bay College after taking courses after high school in graduating from Kingsford High School in 2004. As a busy mother of three, she is able to take courses online while raising a family. She is pursuing a Business degree to further her career options. Garrett enjoys spending time with her family and volunteering at her kids’ school and with their athletics’.
