Local organization, 40/8 Voiture 663, recently donated over $3,700 to purchase Intravenous (IV) infusion pumps to be used by Bay College students pursuing a degree or certificate in Allied Health.  IV pumps are used to infuse fluids, giving students training and experience with programming and managing tubing before they are working in a healthcare setting.

“This donation will help students at Bay College in our Allied Health programs,” stated Linda Lewandowski, Dean of Allied Health.  “With changes in technology, it’s hard to keep up with the most current equipment for training purposes.  This donation will allow us to purchase IV pumps similar to the ones used in actual healthcare facilities, thus making our students even more prepared for real-life situations.  It’s so nice to have organizations in our community that believe in Bay College and support our mission of student success.”
