LSSU's Escanaba Regional Center Announces December 2018 Graduate

One area resident has successfully completed her requirements for a bachelor’s degree and graduated following the Fall 2018 semester from Lake Superior State University (LSSU). Graduates are eligible to walk at commencement on April 27.

Graduating with a bachelor’s of science degree in business administration with an accounting-finance minor is Caryn Fox of Florence, Wisconsin. Fox commented, “Attending LSSU's regional center at the Bay College Escanaba's campus is by far one of the best decisions of my life. I have improved my financial situation and have grown in my current position at work. The instructors and staff were amazing, the class sizes were small enough that you didn't get lost in the crowd and I was able to work full-time while attending classes. This is a dream come true!  I would tell anyone who is considering changing careers or wanting to get a degree that you can do it, it's not too late and you're never too old."

“Caryn is a success story; she has overcome obstacles with her determination and drive to finish her degree. We are happy to celebrate with her in her accomplishments and wish her all the best,” added Susan Beckon, LSSU’s accounting/business instructor.

Fox was taking classes at Bay College, which offers LSSU baccalaureate programs in Escanaba and Iron Mountain through a partnership with LSSU. For more information on degree programs available, Email Heidi Berg or call 906-217-4123.
