When Help Is Needed Bay College Reminds Our Campus Community About 2-1-1

News

In its on-going commitment to the health and well-being of our students, faculty and staff, Bay College is pleased to reiterate the importance of “2-1-1,” a number that should become as synonymous as “9-1-1” when assistance is needed.

Bay College supports the utilization of 2-1-1 as an important resource for the Bay College community and beyond, connecting people with critical community services and volunteer opportunities.

Faced with the growing number of agencies and help-lines, the easy-to-remember number “2-1-1” eliminates redundancies and duplication so that individuals may quickly and easily find the help they need- whether it be mental health, assistance with a child, work situation, aging parent or a myriad of other instances.

Available throughout the Upper Peninsula, 2-1-1 opens the door for assistance by providing Upper Peninsula citizens and families easy access to information and assistance 24 hours a day. Pairing with the resources currently available at Bay College such as in our Student Services department, assistance is either a call or visit the Michigan 2-1-1 website.
