Manager and Supervisor Training Offered at Bay College

Bay College Training and Development will be offering Manager and Supervisor Training – Critical Leadership Skills for Success on Tuesday, March 19 – Thursday, March 21 from 8:30 AM. – 5 PM at the M-TEC building in Escanaba. Critical leadership skills are necessary for success as a supervisor or manager. This three-day workshop will discuss the important supervisory and managerial topic of leadership and explain how one can become a more effective leader. This training will cover important topics including: leadership vs. manager, communication skills, team management, motivating others, delegating and “giving orders”, handling conflict, employee discipline, performance evaluations and time management.
The instructor for the training will be Kurt Peterson, founder and principal at Total Enterprise Consulting and Coaching, who has twenty-three years of industry experience as well as seventeen years as a Lean Six Sigma Black Belt and Master Black Belt.
