Bay College's West Campus Offers New Excel Classes this Spring

Bay College West Campus (Bay West) will be offering four classes on a variety of levels on how to operate Excel.  These classes will take place on April 11, April 18, June 11, and June 18, 2019. Classes will be taught by Aimee Tatangelo. 

The first class, Excel: Charts and Pivots, will be offered on April 11 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM  CST.  The cost of this course is $49.00.  Students will learn how to build more complex functions, use data analysis tools, make an impact with powerful chart and presentation features, and collaborate with other users.  This course assumes participants are familiar with Microsoft Windows, and have experience using Excel.

The second class, Basic Excel, will be offered on April 18 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM CST.  The cost of this course is $49.00.  Students will learn how to create, save, share, and print worksheets that contain various kinds of calculations and formatting.  This course assumes participants are familiar with Microsoft Windows.  It will be most beneficial to participants who want to accomplish basic workplace tasks in Excel and build a solid foundation for continuing on to become proficient in Excel.

The third class, Microsoft Excel – Introduction (Step 2), will be offered on June 11 from 9:00 AM to 3:30 PM CST.  The cost of this course is $97.00 and includes a workbook.  Students will learn how to use formulas, create graphs, charts, pivot tables, and print worksheets in depth.

The fourth class, Microsoft Excel – Intermediate (Step 3), will be offered on June 18 from 9:00 AM to 3:30 PM CST.  The cost of this course is $112.00 and includes a workbook.  Students will explore cell references, use lookup functions, manage multiple worksheets and workbooks, and work with advanced functions.
