Thirteen area residents attended commencement activities on Lake Superior State University’s main campus in Sault Ste. Marie on April 27. Students who completed LSSU degree requirements this past December – or will complete all coursework by May or August - were invited to participate in graduation exercises.

The graduates were taking classes at Bay College, which offers LSSU baccalaureate programs through a partnership that has been in place for three decades. Students can earn degrees in nursing, accounting, business, criminal justice, general studies, and early childhood education, without ever having to leave Bay's Escanaba main campus or branch center in Iron Mountain, Michigan.

Lake Superior State University is Michigan's most affordable public university with One-Rate at Lake State tuition for all. Surrounded by three Great Lakes, LSSU is an unsurpassed location for research, focusing on real-world experiences.
