Bay College Announces Quarterly TORCH Award Winner

Renee Lundberg, Business Development Manager

Congratulations to Renee Lundberg, Bay College's quarterly June – August 2019 TORCH Award winner. Renee works at Bay College as the Business Development Manager for Workforce Development. She is recognized for her work as noted in the following:

“Renee has been instrumental in responding to industry needs for customized training as a result of recent grant monies awarded through Michigan's Going Pro Funding Project.  Her responsiveness to industry partners has been professional, timely and has surpassed expectations as she has worked diligently to build individual and customized training programs. Not only has she gone above and beyond to make sure we are delivering high quality programs, she has built numerous relationships within industry over the years who value her knowledge and professionalism.”

“Renee is often found on campus well into the evening hours to serve Workforce Training partners. She dedicates numerous hours to workforce training researching best offerings, securing subject matter trainers and seeing through the delivery of programs. She is the face of Bay College's Workforce Training Center and the College is incredibly fortunate to have her in this role!”

The purpose of the TORCH Award is to give personal recognition to those employees on Bay College’s campuses dedicated to the mission of the College because of their attitude, commitment, and dedication toward the higher education learning environment. TORCH stands for: Team Player; Outstanding Performance; Responsive to Others; Conscientious to Mission of Bay; Helpful to All.
