Kind of Blues will play for the third Lunchtime LIVE! music series at Bay College on Thursday, July 11 from 11:30 AM to 1 PM. Food will be available on site from local food trucks including The Brisket Barn and Toby’s Dog House.

Kind of Blues, named after Miles Davis’ famous LP, is a blues band composed entirely of professional educators from the local community who also happen to be consummate blues and jazz musicians. Attendees will be treated to a variety of music that is both “bluesy” with “funky jazz flavors.”

Lunchtime LIVE! takes place in Bay College’s outdoor courtyard between the Student Services and Catherine Bonifas Buildings. Attendees may access it either from parking lot “E” or enter through the Besse Center. In the event of rain, the event will take place in Bay’s cafeteria.

Upcoming shows include Thursday, July 25 with Pete and Paul Strom, August 1 with Wingin’ It, and August 8 with Jason Rudden. For more information about Lunchtime LIVE! and music at Bay College, visit the Bay College Music Events web page.
