Early Childhood Awareness and Advocacy Event
On Tuesday, November 5, 2019, from 6 PM- 7:30 PM, the Bay College Early Childhood Education Program: Exceptional Children in Early Childhood course, is hosting a Parent Panel Event in the Bay College Library. Several local families will be sharing their journey in parenting a young child with special developmental, behavioral and/or learning needs and some of the community resources they’ve utilized for support and guidance. Service providers from around the area will be on hand to share about the supports they offer to young children and families in the areas of: early intervention, well child checks/vaccinations, screening, assessment & diagnosis, early education/school readiness, speech & language, fine/gross motor development, social-behavioral & home visiting, IEP/IFSP support & advocacy, and more.
