The Bay College/LSSU Regional Center Business Professionals of America (BPA) student club advance five students to the National Leadership Conference (NLC) in Washington, D.C. on May 6 - 10.

Maia Roll, BPA Club President, took two 1st place finishes at the BPA State Leadership Conference (SLC) held this past Saturday at Davenport University in Grand Rapids, MI. Roll took honors in Project Management Concepts and Business Meeting Management Concepts. Madison Kolich also took 1st place in her event, Ethics and Professionalism, and 2nd in Medical Office Procedures. Roll and Kolich will be joined by Nicole Noblet, Erik Beals, and Jessica Gaskill. Noblet placed 3rd in her two events, Fundamental Desktop Publishing and Parliamentary Procedure Concepts. Beals took home the most qualifying events of the weekend at SLC, with placing either 2nd or 3rd in eight of his events: PC Servicing & Troubleshooting, Computer Security, Administrative Support Concepts, Business Meeting Management Concepts, Digital Communication & Design Concepts, Digital Marketing Concepts, Information Technology Concepts, and Project Management Concepts. Gaskill placed 5th in Computer Programming Concepts.
