Nursing student group in the Library

For the community service project in their Leadership in Nursing course, a group of Bay College Nursing Students have chosen to team up with Hope at The Inn of Delta County. Their goal is to create 50 “care bags” of necessities for those in need. They are seeking donations of the following items: toothbrushes, toothpaste, travel size shampoo, conditioner, body wash, deodorant, mouth wash, laundry detergent, combs, hairbrushes, women’s toiletries, cotton hats, gloves/mittens, hand warmers, cotton or wool socks, baby wipes, gum and pre-packaged snacks (goldfish, animal crackers, granola bars, beef sticks). The nursing students are collecting donations from February 10 - 24. If you would like to help, there are collection boxes set up at the Bay College Library, Wellspring Community Church located in the Delta Plaza Mall, and Serenity Salon of Escanaba. Arrangements can be made to have donations picked up as well. Please contact Christa Sherman at 906-748-8556 for more information.
