Bay College Offers Fall Workshop Series via Zoom

Bay College’s Workforce Training Department has teamed up with other community colleges to offer relevant and timely workshops via Zoom. Each workshop runs for 2-hours and is being offered at a reduced rate of $29.00 each. Sign up for just one, or register for all six workshops.

Substance Use Disorders: The Opiate Crisis and Beyond, will cover the broad field of addiction with a focus on substance abuse and dependence and is offered on October 2 from 9:00 AM – 11:00 AM ET.

The October 7 workshop, Implicit Bias: Reducing Racial Disparities through Understanding, is scheduled from 10:00 AM – 12:00 PM ET, and will provide participants with strategies for removing barriers and stereotypes in their communities and workplace.

Crisis Management in the Workplace will help participants understand crisis dynamics, recognition and management strategies, and is scheduled for October 9 from 9:00 AM – 11:00 AM ET.

Motivational Interviewing in the Workplace: An Overview for the Leadership Team provides important tools for leaders to understand, motivate and improve workplace culture. This informative workshop is scheduled for October 16 from 9:00 AM – 11:00 AM ET.

If your organization is re-opening or resuming operations in today’s “new normal” then you need to join Returning to Work During a Crisis: Lessons Learned and How to Apply Them on October 30 from 9:00 AM – 11:00 AM ET for research-driven processes and steps applicable to any industry and any size organization.

How to Identify and Manage Trauma: Best Practices for the Workplace is designed to present the basic elements of a crisis intervention model in the workplace.  This introductory and overview workshop will run on November 6 from 9:00 AM – 11:00 AM ET.
