Bethany Lutheran Church of Perkins Supports Bay College Student

Each year, Bethany Lutheran Church of Perkins donates a $250.00 scholarship to assist a Bay College student with preference given to Mid-Peninsula High School graduates active in the church congregation.  

Kennedy Englund, Bay College freshman and recipient of this year’s Bethany Lutheran Church Scholarship stated, “I’m so thankful to be awarded this scholarship. The financial help means so much to me. I’m excited to become a nurse someday and give back to the community.”

Bay College awards nearly 300 scholarships each year to future, current, and returning students. Funding for scholarships is made possible through private donations to the Bay College Foundation by businesses, organizations, and individuals through endowment, estate, and annual contributions.
