Your Health Lecture Series

News

The regular “Your Health Lecture Series” sponsored by Bay College and Michigan State University College of Human Medicine continues Thursday, February 25 at 6:00 PM. This month’s lecture features a talk by Dr. John Clements titled “Plagues, pestilence, and pandemics: Historical responses and future impacts.” The presentation is free and open to the public. To register for the webinar offered via Zoom, visit the MSU webinar registration webpage.

Join Dr. John Clements for an informative conversation about past pandemics and COVID-19. Participants will learn about how past pandemics informed current COVID-19 responses, how social determinants of health impact COVID-19 outcomes in Michigan, and about short-term and potential long-term societal and community impacts of COVID-19.

Dr. Clements is an Assistant Professor in the Master of Public Health Program at Michigan State University College of Human Medicine. Learn more at the MSU College of Human Medicine web page. A recorded presentation will be available later on the MSU College of Human Medicine YouTube channel.
