LSSU’S Escanaba/Iron Mountain Regional Center Announces Fall 2020 Graduates

Four area residents have successfully completed their requirements for a bachelor’s degree and graduated following the Fall 2020 semester from Lake Superior State University (LSSU). Graduates are invited to attend LSSU’s commencement scheduled for May 1, 2021. Graduating with a bachelor’s of science in business administration are Morgan Debelak (Escanaba) and Maia Roll (Escanaba); Debelak minored in marketing and Roll earned a management concentration.

Graduating with a bachelor’s of science in criminal justice with a generalist concentration is Ashley Bonifas (Escanaba).

Graduating with a bachelor’s of science in early childhood education is Mikiah (Olson) Tryan (Escanaba). Tryan also graduated with an associate degree in general studies with a behavioral science concentration. Tryan graduated Summa Cum Laude, earning a 3.90-4.00 cumulative grade point average (GPA) on a 4.00 scale.  Tryan stated, “The LSSU Regional Center made it possible for me to get my bachelor’s degree. Heidi Rife was always willing to help and made it possible for me to graduate on time!”

Roll added, “My time at LSSU has certainly been memorable. I enjoyed having a convenient location and an affordable option for pursuing my bachelor's degree. LSSU provided me with valuable experiences from working with other students and my professors to being involved with the student club Business Professionals of America. I am thankful for all of my teachers, mentors, and advisors who cheered me on while I worked on completing my degree.”
