“Your Health Lecture Series: Behavioral Health Impact of COVID-19 in Michigan” Offered by Bay College and MSU College of Human Medicine

The regular “Your Health Lecture Series” sponsored by Bay College and Michigan State University College of Human Medicine continues Wednesday, March 31 at 6:00 PM. This month’s conversation features a panel of experts from the MSU College of Human Medicine addressing “The Behavioral Health Impact of COVID-19 in Michigan.” The presentation is free and open to the public. Participants can expect an informative conversation about stressors associated with suicide during the COVID-19 pandemic, substance use issues and mental health challenges in Michigan, and ways to improve mental health during the pandemic.

There will be four panelists for the event. Dr. Evonne Edwards is a Psychologist at Pine Rest Christian Mental Health Services and Assistant Professor, MSU College of Human Medicine.  Dr. Heide Rollings is Youth/Adolescent Psychiatrist at Pine Rest Christian Mental Health Services and Clinical Assistant Professor, MSU College of Human Medicine. Dr. Carol Janney is epidemiologist and biostatistician at Pine Rest Christian Mental Health Services and Adjunct Assistant Professor, MSU College of Human Medicine. Emily Brereton is an MD candidate at the MSU College of Human Medicine.
