Fitzgibbon Named Outstanding Graduate for Business Division

Each year, Bay College selects an Outstanding Graduate from each of the six divisions at the College.  The graduate is selected by their instructors for their academic excellence, leadership and community service. 

Shiloh Fitzgibbon was selected as the 2022 Outstanding Graduate for the Business Division, with the award being sponsored by Schneider, Larche, Haapala & Company, the Bay College Faculty Association, and the Bay College Foundation. 

A resident of Munising, Shiloh began her studies at Northern Michigan University in 1997/1998 in the Medical Office Program.  Taking advantage of the Futures for Frontliners Program established by the State of Michigan in 2021, Shiloh enrolled at Bay College as a non-traditional student.  In May 2022, Shiloh received an Associate in Applied Science Degree in Office Information Systems / Administrative Assistant from Bay College.  Joyce King, Instructor at Bay College stated, “Shiloh was a great student, and I truly enjoyed having her in my online classes.  She was always prepared, submitted quality work and had a great sense of humor.  She is very deserving to be awarded the Outstanding Graduate for the Business Division.”

Shiloh is employed at Tractor Supply in Wetmore, MI as a team lead.  Shiloh stated, “With the knowledge I have gained from my classes at Bay College, I am better suited to someday become an Assistant Manager at Tractor Supply if the future allows that opportunity.”
