Bay College Announces Quarterly TORCH Winner

Congratulations to Crystal Hendrick, Bay College’s quarterly (March – May 2023) Torch Award recipient.  Dr. Hendrick, a full-time faculty member joined Bay College in August of 2018.  Hendrick holds a PHD in Psychology and a Master of Science in Psychology from the University of Wisconsin.  Crystal was nominated by two colleagues for being the epitome of a team player.

“From the moment she joined Bay, Crystal has demonstrated that she is willing to help in any capacity needed. Her capacity for empathy and caring is remarkable. I have witnessed Crystal jump into action many times when a student needs help.”

The purpose of the TORCH Award is to give personal recognition to those employees on Bay College’s campuses dedicated to the mission of the College because of their attitude, commitment, and dedication toward the higher education learning environment.  TORCH stands for: Team Player; Outstanding Performance; Responsive to Others; Conscientious to Mission of Bay; Helpful to All.  This award is given to one employee on a quarterly basis.  Nominations will be accepted from employees, students and the community.
