Bay College to Host College Night

Get excited Upper Peninsula! In partnership with the Michigan College Fairs Committee, Bay College hosts the return of College Night. Over 35+ colleges, universities, military services, and trade schools will be on both the Escanaba and Iron Mountain Campuses.

The first College Night kicks off on Sunday, September 8 from 6:00pm – 8:00pm ET in the Besse Center on the Bay College Escanaba Campus. The excitement continues Monday, September 9 from 6:00pm – 8:00pm CT in the Lower Commons on the Bay College Iron Mountain Campus.

College Night is an opportunity to meet with representatives from participating institutions to learn about the programs and services they offer. Whether you’re a high school student, currently enrolled as a college student, or simply curious about post-secondary education or trade options, this is a chance to help shape your future.

“It’s not always an easy task getting out of the Upper Peninsula,” shares Jessica Beaver, Bay College Director of Admissions. “This is an opportunity for our communities to visit institutions from far away right here in their backyard. Plus, we love having people on campus! I encourage you to bring your family and friends – you never know what you’ll learn or who you’ll meet.”

Expect a dynamic lineup of 35+ institutions including both large and small colleges from private to public.

Sunday, September 8 | Representatives from the following institutions will be on the Escanaba Campus: Albion College, Alma College, Baker College, Bay de Noc Community College,  Central Michigan University, College for Creative Studies, Douglas J Aveda Institute, Eastern Michigan University, Ferris State University, Grand Valley State University, Lake Superior State University, Lawrence Technological University, Lawrence University, Marian University-Wisconsin, MI Student Aid, Michigan Army National Guard, Michigan State University, Michigan State University Institute of Agricultural Technology, Michigan Technological University, Minnesota North College, Northern Michigan University, Northland College, Northwood University, Oakland University, PM School Cosmetology Arts Sciences, Ripon College, Saginaw Valley State University, St. Norbert College, University of Michigan (UOM) – Ann Arbor and College of LSA, University of Wisconsin (UOW) – Eau Claire, Green Bay, Stevens Point, Oshkosh, and Stout, Western Governors University, and Western Michigan University. "College Night is such an exciting opportunity for the community and it is great to be a part of this as a representative of Bay College,” says Jason Sullivan, Executive Director of the Iron Mountain Campus. “In addition to learning what Bay has to offer from both campuses to the community, students also get to be exposed to what is available to them from colleges and universities across the Midwest.”

To attend, the Michigan College Fairs Committee requests that each participant (student) register. Registration is free and can be completed in three easy steps:

  1. Find Bay College’s events in this list: https://www.michigancollegefairs.org/students and select ‘Student Registration’.
  2. Create a profile with StriveScan.
  3. Select ‘Sign-up’. You will receive a confirmation barcode to your email. You’ll use this barcode to check-in at the event.
