 Registration for the 2020/2021 Leadership Academy is closed.  The information below applies to the current program and will be updated in May 2021. Registration for the fourth 2021/2022 cohort will open in June and kick off in September.

Academy Information

The Bay West Leadership Academy (BWLA) is geared towards bringing together emerging leaders from the area to develop meaningful skills, grow a professional network, and become more aware of Dickinson County and how to get involved.

Target Audience
  • Those interested in developing leadership skills and becoming involved in the community
  • Emerging young talent
  • Mid-level employees looking to advance their leadership skills
  • $900/Person (payment due in September)
The Program Includes
  • Eight workshops running September 2020 through April 2021. Each workshop is three-hours in length centered on key learning outcomes
    • This includes a DiSC Assessment
  • Eight community presentations on Dickinson County
  • Eight lunches centered on discussion and building a professional network
  • Admission to the 2021 Leadership Conference.
  • A professional head shot with all rights to share and reuse

Deadline to apply (no payment due): July 17, 2020
Accepted applicants will be notified: August 5, 2020
Final registration and payment must be completed prior to: September 10 , 2020

If you answered yes, then an individual from your business could win free registration for this program (a $900 value). It's hard to know what life will look like over the next nine months, but we plan to move forward with this program in person and will adjust and reschedule if necessary.

  • This group will be expected to ahere to the college's safety guidelines and PPC requirements while in the building
