The live on-stage musical production at Bay College

The Wizard of OZ production team on stage at the Besse Theater

About the Production

Bay College is excited to take you Over the Rainbow this year to celebrate the 80th anniversary of The Wizard of Oz! Bay College will bring this beloved classic to life on the Besse Center stage this November, and encourages you to join them for the journey. Bay would like to invite the entire community to participate in this magical musical experience by opening auditions up to children and adults ages 8 years and above, volunteering, sponsoring, and or enjoying a performance. There is "no place like Bay College."

Adult Auditions

Actors and actresses 17 years and older will have an opportunity to audition for available roles on the evening of August 18 - 19 in the Besse Center Theater on the campus of Bay College. During auditions you will be required to read and act out characters from the script, learn and sing a small portion of a song from the show as well as participate in a choreographed movement exercise on stage. A parent or legal guardian can pre-register their youth by completing the online registration form and waivers. If you are 17 years of age, you are still required to complete the online registration form and waivers but will audition with the adults on August 18 -19.
