Jim Lawson
Jim Lawson’s career in comics began in 1986, when he first joined Mirage Studios - owner and publisher of The Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles. Mirage at the time was a tiny group of misfit artists brought together by Kevin Eastman and Peter Laird to help shepherd the massive growth of what would soon become a global licensing empire. Jim's role focused on the comics, which continued to be black and white during his time at Mirage. Besides the main TMNT title, Jim worked on various other comic titles, doing over 6000 pages of comic art!

Event Information
Bay College’s Campus Activities Board cordially invites you to apply to be a vendor or artist at BAY-CON 2027! Vendor and artist space for this event is juried, with limited space being available. Applying does not guarantee acceptance to the event. Potential vendors and artists are invited to apply by January 1, 2027, for priority consideration. Payment will not be submitted until you are confirmed as a selected vendor or artist. Vendors and artists will receive top priority when most closely tied to the theme of pop culture.
Applications Available SoonFood vendors are invited to apply to vend at BAY-CON! If you have a food truck or trailer, this application is for you. Applications received by March 1 will receive priority consideration.
