President

Dr. Nerita Hughes of Minnetonka, MN, was selected unanimously by the Bay College Board of Trustees to become Bay College’s sixth president.

Distinguished Alumni

Bay College has over 13,000 alumni worldwide. A Distinguished Alumni Award was established in 1999 to recognize and honor an outstanding alumni each year with significant contributions to career, community, and or Bay College. The Alumni of the Year is recognized at the annual Awards Celebration in April, graduation in May, and invited to be a keynote speaker at commencement the following year to capstone the honor.

Bay College was established in 1962 with a seven member Board of Trustees elected to bring higher education to Delta County, and later extended to Dickinson County. The tradition of student and community success continues.
