Transitional Studies

Transitional Studies courses are designed to assist students in reaching their educational goals. Credits awarded in these courses do not count towards graduation, nor are they calculated into a student’s overall GPA.

Open Education

Helping students achieve the dream

Open Educational Resources (OER) are teaching, learning and research resources that reside in the public domain or have been released under an intellectual property license that permits their free use and re-purposing by others. Open educational resources include full courses, course materials, modules, textbooks, streaming videos, tests, software, and any other tools, materials, or techniques used to support access to knowledge.


General Education

All associate degree graduates of Bay College will possess those qualities, abilities, skills, and knowledge which give them new insights, challenge them to consider new possibilities, create community and sensitize them to other perspectives.
