Biology
Degree program at Bay College
Why Biology?
Biology is a broad field that can lead to many different career paths, including education, zoology, health professions, ecology, biotechnology, microbiology, botany, and marine biology. A generalist biology degree is primarily for future educators and students uncertain about which biology sub-discipline he or she would like to pursue. Students interested in the health professions often major in biology. Health professions include medicine, pharmacy, physical therapy, veterinary medicine, dentistry, optometry and more.
