Criminal Justice (AAS)

Why Criminal Justice?

The Criminal Justice program at Bay College offers students a solid education in the Criminal Justice field presented by instructors who have a vast array of experience and at least five years of field work in the areas of Law Enforcement, Criminal Courts and Corrections. The expertise brings a practical and unique perspective to each course. Class sizes are small, and instructors take a very hands-on approach to teaching this very interesting and important degree path.

Bay College Criminal Justice Program utilizes a mix of 7-week and full-semester long courses. Due to the specific sequence of courses required to complete an AAS degree in Criminal Justice, special approval from the lead advisor is needed for enrollment. In order to most efficiently serve the unique needs of students, every candidate entering the program will now have an opportunity to confer with the Criminal Justice lead advisor regarding placement scores, previous coursework, employment goals, transfer options and possible remote access needs.
