Brent Madalinski is a Business Instructor at Bay de Noc Community College in Escanaba, MI. Madalinski has been employed at Bay College since December 2000. Originally hired as a contract trainer at Bay College’s Michigan Technical Education Center, Madalinski worked with 35 different businesses in Delta, Dickinson, Houghton, and Menominee County delivering workforce development training in a variety of soft skills training. He holds a Masters of Science degree in Administration from Central Michigan University and a Bachelors of Science in Management from Northern Michigan University. Madalinski was named Outstanding Educator for Bay College in 2012, 2016, and 2021. He also received the PRIDE Award in February 2005 and the TORCH Award in November 2016. In 2014, Madalinski became a Certified Local Chapter Advisor for Business Professionals of America (BPA) and helped start the student club, BPA. He has taken students to Anaheim, CA (2015), Boston, MA (2016), Orlando, FL (2017), and Dallas, TX (2018), Anaheim, CA (2019), Dallas, TX (2022), Anaheim, CA (2023) to compete at the BPA National Leadership Conferences. Most of those students placed first, second, or third in their events. Prior to Bay College, Madalinski was a Business Manager for United Parcel Service (UPS), managing UPS facilities in Escanaba, Ironwood, Iron Mountain, Grand Rapids, and Muskegon.
