Candace Cresap-Blomquist

Candace Cresap-Blomquist is a Social and Behavioral Sciences Instructor at the West Campus of Bay de Noc Community College based in Iron Mountain. She has been an Adjunct Faculty member since 2003. Cresap-Blomquist has a Master's Degree in Psychology, a Master's Certification in Post-Secondary Reading and Learning, and is HLC certified to teach Sociology courses. She teaches Psychology and Sociology courses online and at the West Campus. She has also taught Psychology and Sociology dual-enrollment courses at Kingsford High School. She spent 6 years as the West Campus advisor for Phi Theta Kappa from 2005 to 2011. Cresap-Blomquist has completed training in Quality Matters, Partners in Leadership, and Accessibility. Since Fall 2013, she has been the West Campus Vice President for the Part-Time Instructor's Association. Cresap-Blomquist was an online Psychology Professor for Purdue University Global from 2008 to 2019. Her prior work experience in education was as a Program Coordinator for a Health Care Pre-Apprenticeship Program and a Science and Math instructor at Plymouth Youth Center Alternative School in Minneapolis, MN.
