Greg Cutler

Gregory Cutler is a full-time faculty member in the Social and Behavioral Sciences where he teaches psychology and education courses. Prior to being hired in 1992, he was on the faculty and served as department chair at the North Dakota State College of Science for six years. At Bay College he has served as division chair, assessment chair, on several CI/AQIP teams, Achieving the Dream teams, search committees, and facilitated Bay Leadership Training. He holds a BA and MA in Psychology from the University of Northern Iowa and EdS from Northern Michigan University. Greg has served as a coach in a National Science Foundation grant helping faculty across the country develop investigative activities for psychophysiology. Greg has made presentations at local, state, and national workshops and institutes on the topics of student success, teaching and learning, and assessment. He has published articles on smoking, nonverbal communication, and perception. In addition, he has authored ancillaries for psychology textbooks. He was awarded the Distinguished Faculty Award in 2002, 2008, and 2015, received commendations for work with Central Michigan University and was a recipient of the 2008 National Institute for Staff and Organization Development Excellence Award.
