Joseph Racicot is a Criminal Justice instructor at Bay De Noc Community College. Joe attended bay college in 1994/1995 then completed his Bachelor's Degree at Lake Superior State University. Joe then served with the Michigan State Police from 1998 through July 2026. During his time with the Michigan State Police he served in the roles of Trooper, Detective Trooper with a narcotics enforcement team, a uniformed sergeant and a detective sergeant with the 8th District Special Investigations Section. He also served as an instructor for the Michigan State Police Recruit School, he was a first aid instructor and also specialized in riot control tactics. Joe brings a vast array of real-world experience and knowledge to the Criminal Justice program here at Bay.
