Joseph Mold is the Executive Director of Online Learning and Instructional Design. He joined Bay College in 2011 and was promoted to Executive Director on January 1, 2019. Previously, he was a multi-media/ instructional designer at The University of Toledo. He also graduated Magna Cum Laude from The University of Toledo with a B.F.A in Cyber Art and a Master’s in Education Technology. While working at the University of Toledo Joseph earned the Jefferson Award for public service as a Coach for the Toledo Area Challenged Athletic League. Joseph has managed our Achieving the Dream Open Educational Resource Degree Grant that has saved students over half a million dollars on textbook fees and given students access to their textbooks online for free the first day of the semester. Joseph serves as the Co-Chair of the Diversity Committee at Bay College and enjoys planning events to bring awareness to Autism, MLK, Jr and Domestic Violence. Recently, in July of 2018, Joseph was awarded the TORCH award for outstanding performance at Bay College.
